Commissions
A painting made for one place, one collector, one light — carried out with the same slow attention as the works in the collection.
A work that could only be yours
Perhaps it is the Matterhorn as you first saw it, or a subject only you would ask for. Pavlina works in mixed media and oil, building the image in layers until it holds light rather than depicts it.
Every commission is an original, signed, and supplied with its certificate of authenticity. Copyright remains with the artist; the work, and the moment it holds, become yours.
How a commission unfolds
1 · Conversation
We begin with a conversation — the subject, the room, the size and the feeling you want the work to hold. There is no cost, and no obligation.
2 · Concept & agreement
Pavlina proposes a concept and price. On agreement, a deposit of half the value reserves her studio time; there is one included refinement at the concept stage.
3 · Creation
The work is painted over roughly two months, with progress shared privately as it develops, so you follow the piece as it comes into being.
4 · Delivery
On completion and final settlement, the work is signed, varnished, and shipped worldwide — insured and tracked — with its certificate of authenticity.
Commissions are priced by size and subject. Enquiries are answered personally by the artist, usually within two working days.
