About the Artist

About Pavlinsky — Artist, Zermatt

Pavlinsky's work emerged from a period of deep inner exploration. After years of intense inner questioning and negative thought patterns, she reached a clear realisation: the mind is not who we are — it is something we experience. That moment marked the beginning of an ongoing journey.

Shortly after, she had a vivid dream in which she was painting. The following morning, she began. What started as a spontaneous act became a disciplined artistic path.

Pavlinsky later trained at the Milan Art Institute, where she studied under Elli Milan, one of today's most influential contemporary artists. There she refined her technical mastery while preserving the raw, intuitive energy that defines her work.

Now based in the Swiss Alps — steps from the iconic Matterhorn in Zermatt — Pavlinsky creates textured, colourful paintings inspired by the majestic mountains and inner states of awareness. Her work does not aim to decorate. It is meant to anchor a space, shift its atmosphere, and invite presence.

Each piece functions as a visual portal: a reminder of what exists beyond the mind.

Style & Philosophy

Pavlinsky works in abstract realism — a style that sits at the intersection of faithful representation and emotional abstraction. Her Matterhorn paintings capture not just how the mountain looks, but how it feels.

Her practice is grounded in non-dual philosophy — the understanding that consciousness precedes thought. This gives the work its rare quality of stillness. Collectors describe her paintings as having a presence in the room that changes the atmosphere of the space they inhabit.

Painting the Matterhorn from beneath it

This mountain is a calling for those who recognize themselves in it.

Its stillness.

Its strength.

Its quiet majesty.

Painted from a place of deep connection, these original works are not simply representations of the Matterhorn, but reflections of the qualities it awakens within us.

For those who feel drawn to its presence and wish to bring a piece of that feeling into their everyday life.
