Commission a Painting
Commission an Original Landscape Painting
The feeling of standing before a landscape so powerful that, for a moment, the mind disappears completely.
A commissioned painting begins there — in that stillness — and becomes a singular work of art made precisely for you: your view, your scale, your space, your feeling.
If you've been searching for a way to bring the alpine world into your home — a custom Matterhorn painting, a private alpine art commission, or a bespoke original landscape painting — you are in the right place.
The Commission Process
An original landscape painting commission is a collaborative journey. Pavlinsky works closely with each client to ensure the final work reflects both the natural subject and the emotional atmosphere you want to live with every day.
Step 1 — Initial Enquiry
Begin by reaching out through the commission enquiry form below or by emailing directly. Share as much or as little as you like: a photograph of the location that moves you, the dimensions of the wall, a mood you want to capture, or simply the words "Matterhorn — dawn." Pavlinsky will respond personally within 48 hours.
Step 2 — Vision Consultation
A short conversation — by email, phone, or video call — to align on the subject, scale, palette, and atmosphere of your piece. Pavlinsky will share reference images from her personal archive and ensure the painting will feel at home in the space it's destined for. This stage is unhurried. Getting it right matters more than getting it fast.
Step 3 — Proposal & Agreement
Once the vision is clear, you'll receive a written proposal confirming the dimensions, medium, estimated timeline, and investment. A 50% deposit reserves your place in the studio and officially begins the work.
Step 4 — Creation
Pavlinsky paints in mixed-media oils on gallery-wrapped canvas, working in her studio in Zermatt with the Matterhorn as a constant companion. Progress photographs are shared at key stages. Your feedback is welcomed — this is your painting.
Step 5 — Final Approval & Delivery
When the painting is complete, you'll receive detailed images for final approval before it leaves the studio. Every original ships worldwide with specialist art packaging at no additional cost, with a signed certificate of authenticity and a personal letter from the artist.
Why Commission a Painting by Pavlinsky
Rooted in place. Pavlinsky lives in the Swiss Alps, metres from the landscape she paints. The Matterhorn, the valley light, the alpine silence — these are absorbed daily. That intimacy is visible in every brushstroke.
Abstract realism with depth. Her paintings capture not just how mountains look, but how they feel — the weight of stone, the chill of altitude, the strange freedom of open sky.
Trained. Intentional. Uncompromising. Formal training at the Milan Art Institute, grounded in a long personal inquiry into non-dual philosophy. Every commission is executed with full attention and no shortcuts.
A direct relationship with the artist. No agents, no intermediaries. You work directly with Pavlinsky from first enquiry to final delivery.
Worldwide shipping, handled with care. Specialist art packaging and worldwide shipping are included in every commission.
Commission Options
Custom Matterhorn Painting
The Matterhorn at any season, hour, and light — the cobalt blue of a winter morning, the molten gold of an August sunset. Sizes from intimate 40×50 cm canvases to expansive 100×150 cm statement pieces. Larger formats available on request.
Alpine Landscape Commission
Glaciers, meadows, ridgelines, larch forests. If you have a specific alpine location — a view from a mountain hut, a valley you walk each year — Pavlinsky can paint it.
Interior-Matched Originals
Pavlinsky can work to your specific palette, scale, and interior aesthetic. Share photographs of your space and colour references, and the consultation takes it from there.
Gifted Commissions
A commissioned original landscape painting is among the most personal gifts imaginable — for weddings, milestone birthdays, retirements, and anniversaries. Packaged with a personalised letter from the artist.
Pricing
