A new home for some of the originals
Some of the Matterhorn originals now have a home on Bahnhofstrasse.
From this month, a selection of my paintings is shown at Zermatt Selection, Heinz Julen’s gallery in the centre of Zermatt. I wanted these works to stay close to the mountain they came from, where people can see them in person, in the light of the valley.
These pieces are now with the gallery and are no longer for sale directly on the website — enquiries are welcome through Zermatt Selection. The rest of the originals, along with the prints, editions and commissions, are still here as before.
The work itself hasn’t changed. It is still painted slowly, in oils, with the Matterhorn in view. This is simply a new place to see it.
