About these terms

These terms of service apply to purchases and orders made through the Pavlinsky online store. Pavlinsky is the alpine-art studio of the artist Pavlina, based in Zermatt, Switzerland, and the business is operated by Marian Podola. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

Our works

We offer original paintings, fine-art giclée prints, optional framing, commissions and art classes and experiences. We take care to represent every piece faithfully, though colours may appear slightly differently between screens and in natural light. Each original is unique; prints are reproduced to a high archival standard.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Swiss francs (for example, prints from CHF 90 and originals from CHF 1'200), with taxes included where applicable. Payment is handled securely through Shopify and supports major cards, Apple Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal. Your order is confirmed once payment has been received.

Commissions

Commissions begin from CHF 1'200. A deposit of 50% is required to begin the work, with the balance due before dispatch. Because commissioned and bespoke pieces are made to your specification, they are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal. Agreed timelines are typically six to ten weeks.

Shipping and returns

Authenticity

Every original painting is supplied with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist. Copyright in all works, images and text remains with the artist; purchase of a work does not transfer reproduction rights.

Liability

We take great care in preparing and dispatching every order. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the work purchased. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Swiss law, and your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law, and the courts of the Canton of Valais have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
